The joyful rendezvous of beloved Friends at the Artist's Bar And Grill somewhere in the depths of the Lower East Side that evening, with ARTURO, KIM AND TIMOTHY BAUM, IVAN AND the actress, EVE ADLER, her black Russian furs draped over Kim's shoulders to protect her from the bitter cold of that night; I shall never forget them or their generosity! The honor of meeting Terry Quimby, Great grand-daughter of Phineas Quimby, Founder of (Christian) Spiritual Healing in America. (See the Quimby Papers, ed., Horatio Dresser.) The honor of being there present with all those who welcomed me at St. Marks at Reading 27 Oct. 76. Harry Lewis, Jim Brodey being present. I shall never forget it.
