It's so soon! I board the AMTRAK TRAIN tomorrow at 10:00 A.M. and I'm off in two days to New York City! 
Yesterday I had a scare with the reservation service; there were two 

Dear Tatyana, still Thursday, Oct 21 1976. Thinking about you "Pull Into" Denver tonight. "Central Time Zone" begins there. Miss you - both. Hope you are doing all your homework. I've brought a little thistle from Alpine Rd. in M.P. along with me as my travelling companion. At my destination - in New York City. 
 

Beautiful mesas in Wyoming! 

A man has fallen asleep with the book I've lent him to read clasped in his hand.

1) Convert some change - for dimes (Calls!) 
2) Buy a coffee cake for the kids, Tatyana 
    & Janaina & Granma!
